Organic Cotton Care

Garments made from organic and regular cotton are usually easy to wash. As it is the case with all of our styles, hand washing is preferred, but a gentle 30 degrees cycle on your machine will do as well. Use cold water when washing your cotton garments in order to prevent them from shrinking. Tumble drying your cotton garments might make them shrink as well, which is why we recommend you air dry them flat on a towel instead.
Lay the sweater flat on a towel or a sweater rack to dry. Lay the sweater down in the shape that it will be on your body. This means that the body part is flat, and the arms and shoulders are in the form they are when you wear it. Do not hang your sweater, as that could cause it to stretch or get hanger bumps in the shoulders.

Organic Cotton Tips

Ventilate your clothes as much as possible instead of washing them after every use.
For the first wash, add ¼ cup of clear household vinegar to the final rinse, this will help to set the color and resist fading or bleeding.
It's super important that you wash your cotton sweater with like colors. If you have a white sweater, wash it with other whites. Similarly, wash a dark-hued sweater with other dark colors to avoid any color transfer.
